Gail Frances Ahearn of Milton, formerly of Charlestown, died Oct. 13, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (McDonough) Ahearn, she was the cherished sister of Ann Marie Murphy and her husband William of Melrose and the late Ruth M. Ahearn; loving aunt of Brian Murphy and his wife Michelle of Weymouth, Brenda Kopylov and her husband Andrei of Stoneham and Steven Murphy and his wife Tara of Saugus; dear great-aunt of Liam and Margaret Murphy, Sean Kopylov and Owen Murphy. Also survived by many cousins, relatives and friends. Visiting hours in the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd.), Dorchester, Monday 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Agatha's Church, Milton, Tuesday morning at 9 O'clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Arthritis Foundation , P.O. Box 96280, Washington, DC 20078-7491.
