Ruth was a nurse's aid at the former Holy Cross Hospital in Merrill and was employed at the former Cork and Dyne Restaurant in Merrill. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill and enjoyed reading, doing embroidery work, putting together jigsaw puzzles and playing cribbage.
Funeral services took place on Thursday February 3, 1994 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Kenneth Albers officiated and burial took place at Merrill Memorial Park.
