She was born in Limestone County, AL on September 1, 1928 to the late Charlie and Mary Susan Elizabeth Dison. She was a woman of faith and was a devoted member of Holiday Heights Baptist Church for more than 40 years. Ella Ruth had a natural talent for fixing anything in her home especially stoves. She had a green thumb and she loved flowers as well as her vegetable garden. Ella Ruth never met a stranger. She would help anyone and she made sure no one ever left her house hungry. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harry L. Adams and son, Jimmie Dwight Adams.
