Services for John Barbour, 81, who died of a heart ailment early Monday at the New Haven Rest Home, 5609 S W Ninth Street, will be at 2 pm in Melcher-Dallas Cemetery.
Mr. Barbour, a native of Jasper and retired coal miner, lived in Melcher most of his life. He moved to Des Moines about 15 years ago.
he was a member a of his Knights of Pythias.
