Steve Adams passed away at a local hospital, February 26, 2015, at the age of 72, with his loving wife at his side. Steve was born January 1, 1943, to Kenneth and Gladys Adams in Shelby, Montana. He grew up in the oil fields around Kevin and Shelby. Steve joined the Navy in October 1960 and retired June 1988, which included 3 tours to Vietman. After leaving active duty, he served in the Naval Reserves in Boise.Steve met Janice at the Old Red Feather restaurant in Boise, and they were married October 8, 1972 in Montana. Steve worked for Ada County, attended Boise State Culinary School and worked for Mountain Bell where he retired after 25 years. Steve and Janice spent weekends fishing, gold mining near Baker, Oregon, and traveling with their motorcycle and motorhome. Steve is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice, brother, Lynn (LaRae), 4 brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services arranged by Bowman Funeral Parlor. Committal services will be held March 9, 2015 at 3 pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10101 N. Horseshoe Bend Road, 83714.
