Interment will follow Whitaker Cemetery Lodi,Texas.
Bro. Ernest K. Cooper Jr. was born January 14,1945 in Jefferson,Texas.He was born to the parentage of Reverend Ernest Cooper and Miss Rosie Reed,four children were born to this union.
He received Christ at an early age.He attended Central High School and went on to college for two years.
He served his country in the Armed Forces for two years.
Ernest moved to Michigan where he resided for two years and later moved back home.
For 33 years,Ernest was employed with Baker Reel where he retired from.
He met Bettie Young and joined in Holy Matrimony,this union was blessed with two sons,David and Damian Young.
He was preceded in death by his parents,Ernest and Rosie Cooper and one sister,Eva Lewis.
He leaves to treasure his memories a caring wife,Bettie Cooper;two sons,David Young(Jeanetta)and Damian Young(Angela) all of Longview;mother-in-law,Trudy Young; 3 goddaughters,Antionetta Tucker(Dymond) of Marshall,Tx,Mildred Justice(Well),Donna Smith(Wayne) all of Jefferson,Tx;one brother,John Cooper(Paulette)of Jefferson,Tx;one sister,Deloise Martinze of Pomona,Ca;a loving sister-in-law,Lessie Mae Mitchell of Lodi,Tx;10 grandchildren;5 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces,nephews,other relatives and friends.
