Alice W. Aldrich, 85, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday. Alice was a native of Fulton and had resided in the Baldwinsville area for most of her life. She retired from General Electric, after 28 years and previously worked as a bus monitor for the Phoenix School District. Alice was a member of Little Utica Methodist Church. Her husband, Russell Pendergast, predeceased her in 1966. Survivors include her son, Chuck (Sarah) Magee of Syracuse; her daughters, Shirley (Joseph) Semmons of Virginia and Margo (Ronald) Peterson of Florida; her sister, Edith Grant of Volney; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. Contributions may be made in Alice's honor to Francis House or to the American Cancer Society .
