Dad was born in New York on February 21, 1921.
He moved to Boyle Heights at age 1. Here he met his future wife Henny. He attended Roosevelt High and over the years he had three children and became a successful businessman. Reshaping a scrap yard into a thriving business in the City of Irwindale was his joy.
Dad was a loving and generous man who loved to sing, especially to his lovely wife. He and Mom had a wonderful loving bond for 64 years. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends but we are all better for having had him in our lives.
He is survived by his wife, his children Gary, Shelly, Craig and his wife Anne; grandchildren Stephaine, Jennifer, Torrin, and Daylin; great-grandchildren Robert and Layla.
A small ceremony will be held at Forest Lawn Cathedral City today at 12:00 p.m.
