Sarah was born in Billings on Dec. 24, 1929, to Herbert and Nora (Lavender) Morehouse.
Sarah's greatest passions in life were her family and home as well as the many foster children she cared for. She took great care and pleasure in maintaining her home and garden and had a special gift to make all who knew her feel welcome. She married the love of her life, Sidney A. Allen, on Jan. 4, 1947, in Park City, Mont. Together they started their own construction company, Sid Allen Construction, which they retired in 1977.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney A. Allen; son John S. Allen; brothers Herb and George Morehouse; and sisters Martha Deleeuw and Ethel Morehouse.
She is survived by her daughters Carol (Greg) Osborn, of Eugene, Ore., Colleen Allen-Todd, of Brainerd, Minn., Yvonne (Gerald) Boespflug, of Billings, Kathy (Curt) Nelson, of Pelican Rapids, Minn.; daughter-in-law Alice Allen, of Billings; grandchildren Natasha, Larry, Laura, Johnny, Jennifer, Jason, Jimmy, Justin, JoDee and Nathan, along with numerous great-grandchildren and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, at Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
