Elva A. Baumgarten, age 75, of Loganville, WI, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1981 at the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born February 28, 1906 in Winfield Township to Frederick and Anna Schroeder Luetkens. She was married September 12, 1928 to Herbert Baumgarten. She worked as a cook for the Reedsburg School District prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Loganville and the A.L.C.W. of St. Peter's and a member of the Reedsburg Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert, Loganville; one daughter, Mrs. Philip (Doris) Fish, Sauk City; three sons, Marlin, Reedsburg; Kenneth, Kenosha; Gordon, Loganville; 14 grandchildren;, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Luetkens and Lorenz Luetkens, both of Reedsburg.
Funeral services were held Dec.2nd at St. peter's Lutheran Church, Loganville with Rev. George Gutzmann officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, Loganville.
