Ed C. Allen originally owned a lot in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. The lot was described as:
Sec. 2 - Row U - lot 21a
There is a cement coping around the lot, within which is a headstone that has what looks like the top of a large piece of ammunition. There is a deep recess in the headstone which undoubtedly once had some kind of a plaque embedded in it, which undoubtedly bore the name of the individual who lies at rest here.
To the left of this grave is a gravesite with the shared headstone of Louis and Loretta Parker. To the right is the gravesite with the headstone of Wm. F. Hayes.
If the absence of the plaque was due to vandalism, whoever desecrated this gravesite should be ashamed of what they've done.
