Berlyn Lee Burke, 76, a native of Franklin and a resident of Patterson died, Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 6 p.m. at his residence.
Berlyn is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Delores Cobb Burke of Patterson; two sons, Ricky Lee Burke of Panama, FL. and Scott Anthony Burke of Franklin; his daughter, Marykay Burke of Patterson; three sisters, Hazel Tardiff of Lafayette, Rita Lancolos of Franklin, and Ruby Martin of Centerville; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Lee Burke; his father, Joseph Burke; his mother Lydia Pischoff Burke; three brothers, Dewey, Preston, and Curtis Burke; and one sister, Ruth Theriot.
The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, April 15th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 15th at 10 a.m. at the church with Father Louis Vu officiating. Burial will follow in the Ibert's Memorial Park Cemetery in Patterson.
