Alice LaFon Ruckman Arbogast, age 97, of Marlinton, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at LewisGale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor, Virginia.
Born September 3, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Frederick W. and Alice Thaw Ruckman.
On May 29, 1947, she married Burrell Franklin Arbogast, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church and the Marlinton First Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wilmer Ruckman.
She is survived by a niece, six nephews; and numerous cousins.
Funeral service is Sunday, February 13, 2:30 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Rev. William Kumpf officiating. Interment will be in Ruckman Cemetery in Buckeye. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
