Christian Andes, aged 76 years, died yesterday morning, May 29th, of a complication of diseases at his late home, 316 Kidder Street. The deceased was well-known in the East End of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PA where he had resided for the last 50 years. He is survived by his wife (nee Marian Zimmer), three sons, Peter, Christian and Nicholas, the latter an invalid through rheumatism for the past twenty years, and a daughter, Mrs. Jacob Heck (nee Barbara Andes). The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon, May 31st, at 3 o'clock from the house, 316 Kidder Street, and proceed to St. Nicholas' Church, where services will be held at 4 o'clock. Interment will be in the St. Nicholas German Catholic Cemetery on Darling Street.
