Loretta was born Jan. 22, 1938, at Pullman, a daughter of Goldie E. Jones of Tollgate community near Pennsboro. She was employed by the former Sheppard Nursing Home of Ellenboro, and the former Economy Industries of Harrisville. She was a member of the Pennsboro Apostolic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles L. Barniak; son, Ron Barniak of Cairo; daughter, Diana Dugan of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, Billy Jones of Pennsboro; sisters, Rosie Satterfield of Akron, Ohio, Stella Cottrill of Lynn Camp community near Pennsboro, Doris Greathouse of Harrisville and Geraldine Jones of Pennsboro; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Jones and Jackie Jones.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, with the Rev. David Simons officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Harmony Masonic Cemetery in Pennsboro. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
