Grace Kufrovich, age 75, of Mahanoy City, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter in Lost Creek. Born in and a life long resident of Mahanoy City she was the daughter of the late Edward & Grace (Johnson) Teichman.
She was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School, had been employed with City Shirt and Eagle Brothers garment factories and was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Bernard, a son Jamie, a brother Fred Teichman and a sister Dorothy Smith.
Survivors include her daughter Hope Jones with whom she resided, a son Larry also of Lost Creek, grandchildren Alyson, Althea, Andrew and Amanda Kufrovich, and Chelsea, Janine and Dylan Jones, great grandchildren Ryleigh & Skylar Kerrigan, Keegan Schreck, Andrew Micklesavage and Delilah Klock.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday morning at 10:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher at 11 AM from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church. Interment will follow in Assumption BVM Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.
