Rita Rachuck, Mahanoy City, died Saturday evening at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Chonko Bush.
She attended local schools and had worked for City Shirt until her retirement.
Rita was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Parish, Mahanoy City, Mahanoy City Golden Age Club and Mahanoy Area Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, in 1985; a sister, Theresa Parlier.
Surviving are a son, Michael J. Rachuck, Mahanoy City; daughters, Mary Hillibush, New Boston, and Diane Rachuck, at home; brothers, John T. Bush, Fredericksburg, Va., and Stephen Bush, Bangor; sisters, Mary Helsel, Warren, Ohio, and Dolores Vinchur, Manville, N.J.; grandchildren, Robert and Rachel Hillibush; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church. Interment in Assumption BVM Cemetery, Mahanoy City. Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, had charge of arrangements. For further information, visit truskowskyfuneralhome.com.
