John Harold Fouts, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away March 24, 2013 at Alter Care Hilliard of Hilliard, Ohio.

John was bor September 12, 1925 in Athens County, Ohio to John Phillip and Bertha Fouts.

He graduated in 1943 from Corning High School, was an automobile mechanic, brake and transmission specialist, and worked for North American Aviation until their closing.

Surviving are his wife, Goldie Fouts,whom he married on April 24, 1946; daughter, Sharon K. Curtis of Columbus; son, Robert Harold Fouts of Columbus; grandchildren, Kimberly Curtis of Columbus, and Michael Fouts of Columbus; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine Weber of Jefferson, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Kevin Curtis; brother, Glenn Fouts; sisters, one infant sister, Mae Williams, Pauline Wiliams, Leona Becker, Lois Ziegler, Dorothy Nelson, and Maxine Klonowski.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 at the BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Murray City, Ohio with Joe Edinger officiating.

Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio. Calling hours will be observed Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the funeral home.
