Mr. Enos Marion Baird was born July 8, 1930 in Red River County, Texas. He was the son of Eunice and Bernice Baird. He passed away January 28, 2013 in Jefferson, Texas. Enos was raised by his maternal grandparents, George and Ada Williams due to both of his parents passing before he was three. He was a Baptist and an avid outdoors man. He worked in the petroleum industry starting out in Odessa at a young age and worked extensively throughout Texas and Louisiana. He was the owner of Baird Petroleum Consultants.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; wife, Pat Baird and son Garry Baird.
He is survived by his sons, Edward Baird of Jefferson, Texas and Bill Baird of Florida; daughter Donna Steele of Jefferson, Texas; grandchildren, April Hand of Hawaii, Christi Sterrett of South Carolina, Leann Garman of Forney, Texas, Jody Lahay, James Baird and Traci Steele of Jefferson, Texas and multiple great Grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be at Oakwoood Memorial Park Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas at 11:00am Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Rev. Darwin Roraback will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please give to the charity of your choice.
