Mr. Ballowe was born August 31, 1917, in Palestine, to Leigh and Mary Ballowe. He was a retired land man from Texaco and was a graduate of Texas A&M University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of the Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Walker Ballowe.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Walker Ballowe of Longview; children, Bridges Ballowe and Jane Dunham of Dallas; grandchildren, Bryan, Brooke, Jenifer, Will and Collin; and two great-grandchildren.
