Mrs. Anderson was born March 6, 1932 in Rehobeth, Alabama to the late Bonnie (Swann) and Auburn Allen Watford, and died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in a local nursing home. She had resided in Lufkin for 44 years.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from the Draughan Business School. She worked for BellSouth in Alabama and then at Boles Supermarket in Lufkin. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Shirley Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kelly Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Garion and Lindsay Taylor; grandchildren, Jamie Anderson, Zach Taylor and Jay Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Ramona Watford; sisters-in-law, Ann Boles and Joyce Anderson; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Anderson was cared for by Grace Care Center and Heart to Heart Hospice.
