Rudolph Abraham Bryan Sr.,71 of Rt. 5, Galax, died Sunday, June 21, 1967, in Twin County Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 12, 1915, in Grayson County, to Walter and Leota Hale Bryan.
Survivors are his wife, Madeline E. Bryan his mother Leota H. Bryan, Woodlawn three daughters, Elizabeth Fortsen and Anita Bryan, both of Washington, D.C., and Iris Langford, Fort Washington, MD, four sons; Rudolph A. Jr. of Galax, Robert of Alexandria, Walter of Upper Marlboro, MD., and Eric of the home two sisters, Rose Kyle, Baltimore, Md., and Leota Saunders, Woodlawn two brothers, Gilbert of Galax, and Walter of Baltimore, Md. and 12 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (June 24) in the chapel at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
The Rev. Raymond Brown, the Rev. Curtis Wolfe and the Rev. M. M. McMillan will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oldtown Cemetery.
