JEFFERSON - Services for Charles "Crock" Bonner, 74, of Jefferson, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Mount Ira Baptist Church, with the Rev. Darden officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. Mr. Bonner died January 12, 2008, at his residence.

Born April 4, 1933, in Jefferson, he was a longtime Blackburn employee and active member of Mount Ira Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Bonner; daughters, Karen Rhymes, Debra Smith and Donna Davis; sons, Ray Cole, Tracy Cole and Bruce Cole; brothers, Clarence Bonner and Willie J. Bonner; and sister, Norma J. Jones. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
