Jean Marie Albaugh, 73, of Route 6, Clarendon, PA., passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at her residence after a courageous three year battle with cancer.
Mrs. Albaugh was born June 28, 1936, in Kelletville, PA., the daughter of the late Arthur and Sylvia Brecht Schrader and was a graduate of East Hickory High School. She was employed for twentythree years as a press operator at GTE Sylvania, from which she retired. Jean was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and greatgrandmother. Her family always came first. She also loved reading, knitting, and her cats. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Jean is survived by her husband, John R. Albaugh, whom she married on February 13, 1954; two daughters, Debra Hoenes and her husband Zack, and Wendy Lindell and her husband Rodney, both of Russell; four sons, Richard Albaugh and his wife Sharon, Randy Albaugh and his wife Adriene, John Albaugh, and Mike Albaugh and wife Brenda, all of Clarendon; sixteen grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren; a brother, Williard Schrader and his wife Pat, Tionesta, PA., and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Albaugh on December 20, 2003; a daughter, Pamela Jean Fitzgerald on July 11, 2005, an infant twin grandson; a greatgrandson; a sister, Alberta McKee; and a brother, Kenneth Schrader.
