Vivian Smith Anderson, born January 13, 1926, passed peacefully August 4, 2013. Viv enjoyed many good friends and took special delight in her home and family, particularly her two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe after 66 years of marriage. Survivors include daughter Sandy Stewman (Paul) of Charlotte, NC; son David Anderson of Douglasville; grandchildren Todd and Amy Stewman of Austin, TX, Shana and John Ashworth of Charlotte, NC; great granddaughters Lauren, Jessica and Sophie Stewman, McKinley and Elizabeth Ashworth; sister Carolyn Howell Smith; brother Gordon Smith and sister-in-law Gloria Varner. The memories of Grandma Viv will always be with us.
Celebration of Viv's life was held at White Columns Chapel in Mableton, Georgia. Interment followed at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Douglas County Retardation Association, P.O. Box 399 Austell, GA 30168.
