Harold E. Adair, age 89, of Mableton, passed away April 10, 2016. Mr. Adair was stationed in the Panama Canal during World War II with the Army Air Corps. He retired from CSX Railroad after 45 years of service. Mr. Adair had been a deacon at Pebblebrook Baptist Church, a Past Master of Leland Masonic Lodge 686 F&AM and the James E. Sledge Daylight Masonic Lodge. He was an avid ham radio operator (W4AYH) for over 60 years.

Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Barbara Lucille McWaters Adair. Survivors include his children Wayne and Dell Adair of Villa Rica, Vicki and Dennis Mitchell of Mableton, and Greg and Laurie Adair of Mableton; brother Bobby and Opal Adair of New Georgia; brother in law Pat Langston of New Georgia; grandchildren Ashley, Jason, Jamie, Matthew, Brandon, and Michael; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Gene Davis Funeral Home White Columns Chapel. Burial was at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
