Mr. Iva J Ashley, age 76, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1935 in Abbeville County, SC the son of the late Mr. Lawrence Orr Ashley and the late Mrs. Bessie Bell Ashley. He worked for Atlanta Coca-Cola Company from 1965 until 2000 when he retired. He was a member of the Mableton Lodge #171 F & AM, where he had served as Past Master. He was also a Shriner and a member of the VFW. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict.
