Mr. Abbott was born September 14, 1930 in Tift County to the late Ben Hill Abbott and Mary Bolton Abbott. He was a resident of Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville for the past seven years. Mr. Abbott was raised in Tift County, graduating from Tift County HIgh School.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War Conflict.
Mr. Abbott was a farmer who enjoyed gardening and NASCAR. He was a member of the Eldorado Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law and a granddaughter.
