He was born on November 1st 1914 in Winooski, Vt., the son of Edward M. and Eva (Langlois) Abair.

He married his wife Harriet Pauline Devino on April 20th 1936 in Winooski, Vt.

He was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.

He worked as Director of Publications for the Vermont Army National Guard and resided on 31 Davis Parkway in South Burlington, Vt.

Burial was in Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington, Vt.
