Felipe "Cannon Ball" Aragón, age 64, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 7, 2003.
Felipe was a life long resident of Bernalillo and a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Felipe was preceded in death by his parents, Evaristo and Erlinda Aragón, a sister, Selma Aragón, brother, Roger Aragón and his first wife, María C. Aragón.
Felipe is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Aragón of the family home, his children, Theresa, Margaret, and Paul Philip Aragón and his wife, Karen, nine grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Also surviving are one sister, Rose Díaz and her husband, Willie, six brothers, Enrique and his wife, Genova, Orlando and his wife, Rose, Ramon and his wife, Goretti, Manuel and his wife, Maryann, Bernardo and his wife, Lucy, and José and his wife, Diana, sister-in-law, Beatrice Aragón and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Felipe will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him.
Visitations will be on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bernalillo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Paul Robert Aragón, Leonard Archibeque, Julio Aragón, Reno Aragón, Raul Aragón and Raymond Aragón. Honorary bearers will be Alex Aragón, Joseph Aragón, Anthony Aragón, Richard Archibeque, Anthony Archibeque, Alex Chávez, Sean Frazier and Henry Rivera.
