George M. Ault, age 87 of Mineral Ridge passed away early Sunday, April 21, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 4, 1925 in Mineral Ridge, he was the son of Homer and Daisy (Lear) Ault. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII and had earn several ribbons and medals of Honor to include, 6 bronze stars, a purple heart with two oak leaf clusters and the WWII Victory Medal.

George worked as a self employed carpenter and with Local 171 for 43 years. He retired in 1990. He was a member of the Girard VFW, former member of the Eagles in Niles and Carpenters Local Union 171.

Survivors include his daughters; Debra (Dallas) Swaro (New Concord, OH., Georgia Ault (Mineral Ridge) son; David (Kimberly) Ault (Mineral Ridge), five grandchildren; Lori (Robert) Feyko, Brandy (Brent) McLaughlin, Derek Swaro, Madaline (Sean) McIntyre, Levi German, great grandchildren; Skyler, Sawyer Jones, Bobby Feyko, Konlan, Korynn , Klaire McInyre, Landon and twin babies McLaughlin due this July. Brother; Robert Ault (Mineral Ridge), several nieces and nephews and Robert D. Rhodes who was like a son to him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kenneth, and Betty (Shaffer) Ault, mother of his children and love of his life.

Interment will follow at Kerr Cemetery.
