GLADYS ANACKER
AGE: 90 FORMERLY OF EDISON AND FORDS
Gladys Anacker (nee Liddle ), 90, of Toms River, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at her home. Born July 17, 1920 in Fords, she resided in Toms River since 1987 and prior years in Edison and Fords. She was a secretary for 15 years with the Boy Scouts of America in Edison, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, Toms River.

She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin, in 2000; and a daughter, Janice Panconi, in 2002.

Surviving are three sons, Mark Anacker and Debbie Wall of Colonia, Robert Anacker and wife Bonnie of Monroe Township, and Ronald Anacker and MaryAnn of Toms River; 11 grandchildren...Mark Anacker II and fiance Susana, Fernandes of Edison, Gregg Anacker and wife Laura of Hamilton, Scott Anacker of Lacey, Tommy and wife Kathleen Panconi of Cranbury,Todd and Ronnie Anacker of Toms River, Matthew Panconi and wife Laura of Kendal Park, Kathy Panconi of Bayville, and Keith, Kyle and Kerri Anacker of Monroe Township; eight great-grandchildren, Addison, Jena, Taylor, Matthew, Leann, Mike, Tommy and Victoria; son-in-law, Tom Panconi of Bayville; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 from the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 2600 Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. FORDS — Miss Gladys B. Liddle, daughter of Mrs. Helga Liddle, of 128 Liberty Street, and Melvin William Anacker, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Anacker, of 177 Liberty Street, were married during a quiet marriage ceremony performed in the First Presbyterian Church, Perth Amboy, recently.
