Nicola Albano, 93, of Lakewood NJ, died December 25, 2011, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick NJ. Mr. Albano was born in Sicily, coming to the United States in 1956. He lived in Brooklyn NY before moving to Lakewood 3½ years ago. He was a longshoreman in Brooklyn for many years.
Surviving are his wife Gerlanda Iacono Albano, daughters Michele DeCaro of Brick and Serafina Iacono of Delran NJ, brother Giovanni Albano of Italy, and sisters Giovanna Paturzzo and Angela Mineo bothof Italy, five grand-
children, and six great-grandchildren.
