JEFFERSON - Services for George Grant Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Shady Grove Church of Christ, with Brother Rickey Williams officiating. Burial will be in Judea Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. Mr. Grant died October 20, 2007, in Mount Pleasant.
Born July 8, 1961, in Marion County, he was a member of Sixty-third and Vine Street Church of Christ in Philadelphia, Pa. Survivors include his mother, Magarett Grant; brothers, Roy Grant and Washington Lee Grant; and sisters, Martha Ballard and Marie Grant.
