JEFFERSON - Services for Curtis Evans, of Jefferson, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Judea Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. William "Leo" McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Judea Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. Mr. Evans died January 31, 2008, in Marshall.
He was born July 11, 1934. Survivors include his wife, Ella Mae Evans; sons, Billy Williams Evans, Curtis Evans Jr., Earl Wayne Evans, Authur Ray Evans and Steve Mathis; daughters, Patsy Evans and Sandra Burnon; brother, Clem Evans; and sisters, Azzierene Smith, Carolyn Pouncy and Julia Wardell.
