Mrs. George Armitage, a well known and respected young woman of this place, died last evening of typhoid fever. She was ill only ten days. Mrs. Armitage was 23 years of age and before her marriage was Miss Pendhoe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Pendhoe. She is survived by a husband and two small children. Her parents and two sisters, Mrs. L. R. Young, and Mrs. Robert John, and one brother, James Pendoe, of Orange, also survives her. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. J. Day officiating, and interment in Shawnee cemetery.
