Freda M. Baker, 67, of New Alexandria, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born April 20, 1936, in New Alexandria, a daughter of the late James and Emily (Kovar) Slezak. She was a member of Full Gospel Church, Greensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Fred, and a sister, Eleanor Anderson.
She is survived by her husband, James D.; three sons, James H. and wife, Roxanne, of New Alexandria, and Douglas L. and wife, Karen, and Donald E. and wife, Debbie, all of Saltsburg;
Also five daughters, Mrs. Ken (Deborah) Ankney, Mrs. Doug (Melinda) Taylor, and Loretta, all of New Alexandria, Mrs. Mike (Kimberly) Zello Latrobe, and Mrs. George (Rebecca) Brank, Avonmore;
Also a brother, Robert, New Al-exandria; two sisters, Martha Bradosky, New Alexandria, and Mrs. Bill (Cathy) Slezak, Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Barb Slezak, of Export; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be today at 10 a.m. in Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe with Rev. Aimee W. Twigg officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
