Harry I. Bennett, 68, of Latrobe, died Monday, July 29, 2002, in his residence. He was born Jan. 2, 1934, in New Alexandria, a son of the late Archie V. and Ella Belle Moore Bennett. He retired from Westinghouse in Derry after 30 years of service. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Randy Bennett, in 1998; and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Rethea Bennett of Latrobe; four daughters, Patricia and husband, Kenneth Doursha, of Aliquippa, Suzann and husband, Larry Dixon, of Masontown, W.Va., Roxanne and husband, James Baker, of New Alexandria and Beverly Sinclair of Latrobe; a son, Harry M. Bennett of Florida; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria, where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Graff, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church of Latrobe, officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
