STUMPY POINT - Grace Twiford Golden, 82, of Stumpy Point, died, Monday, August 25 in her residence.
Mrs. Golden was born in Stumpy Point and was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Cora Wise Twiford and the wife of Hildred O. Golden.
Besides her husband surviving are one daughter; Sheila Golden of Stumpy Point.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 29, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. in the Shiloh United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tom Jennings and Rev. Tom Clarke. Burial will be in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Twiford Funeral Home, Thursday, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Twiford's Colony Chapel Manteo is assisting the Golden family.
