ASHLAND — Roseann M. Schlader Birster, 63, of Spruce Street, Ashland, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at her home surrounded by family.
Born Dec. 16, 1951, in Locustdale, she was a daughter of Anna Mae Schlader, of Frackville, and the late John Schlader.
She attended North Schuylkill High School.
Roseann married Rodger Birster, of Ashland, who survives.
She worked as a home health care nurse for Covenant Home Health Care.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Davina Corrigan, of Frackville, and Owen and Jessica Corrigan, of Ashland; a daughter, Kristy Corrigan and her fiance, Kieran Cray, of Girardvlle; eight grandchildren, Justin, Reese, Declan, Mackenzie, Austin, Sidney, Sarah and Shane; a sister, Mary Karpovitch, of Mount Carmel; a brother, Charles Schlader, of Mount Carmel, and a nephew, Charles.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Schlader and a niece, Melissa.
