French Nobility. Marie Louise de Bourbon, daughter of Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, Duke of Penthièvre, and his wife Maria Teresa Felicitas d'Este, received the title of Mademoiselle de Penthièvre at birth. She was a descendant of King Louis XIV of France and his mistress Madame de Montespan on both sides of her family. Her father was their grandson, and her mother was their great-granddaughter. In addition, her father was one of the wealthiest men in Europe. However, Marie Louise died in 1753, about six months after the birth of her sister Marie Adélaïde. She was initially interred at the village church of Saint-Lubin in Rambouillet. After two more interments, she eventually rested at the Chapelle Royale de Dreux.
