Soviet Russian painter and graphic artist. Her way into art began in 1922 when, without going through the competition at MSU, accidentally saw an ad about a set of nudes in VHUTEMAS. Along with the work involved in the studio nudes sculptor Ivan Efimov, visited the studio paid F. Rerberg. She was married to the student A. Shevchenko Pochitalova Basil, was his faithful companion for life. In the thirties, and her husband traveled to the Caucasus, made a lot of drawings, sketches. Subsequently, despite the undoubted talent, left the session creation. When life was involved in only two shows: "Crimea and the Caucasus ..." (1931) and "Artists of the RSFSR for 15 years" (1932, Leningrad, 1933, Moscow). Posthumous exhibitions of Bakulin were held in 1982, 1991, 1994
