Services for Mrs. Julia L. Ames, 84, a resident of Los Angeles since 1877, will be conducted by Pierce Bros. Los Angeles Mortuary today at 2:00 p.m. in Shatto Chapel of the First Congregational Church and will be followed by inurnment in the Chapel of the Pines.
Mrs. Ames was born in Detroit and lived at 517 S. Rampart Blvd.
She died Monday in Queen of the Angels Hospital.
