Killed on the Railroad
John J. Bell, a brakeman, was killed in the yard of the Pennsylvania railroad at Philadelphia on Wednesday. The young man was 38 years old and son of the Joseph and Ellen Bell. He resided with his aunt, Mrs. Frank Rick, at Manayunk. The deceased was also a nephew of Water Superintendent James Bell, of town. The funeral will take place Monday morning, and the remains will be brought here for interment in the Annunciation cemetery, arriving at Shenandoah at 12 o'clock on the Pennsylvania road.
