Jacob W.J. Bechtel, 3, Morea, died Thursday at his home.

Born in Danville, Dec. 21, 1998, he was the son of the late Raienhna P. (Rudloff) Bechtel, who died Aug. 15, 2002.

He was baptized in St. Mary Magdeline Church, Girardville.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his mother, were his aunt, Cymarron Starr, who died Oct. 20, 1998; and his maternal great-grandmother, Brenda Bender, who died Dec. 22, 1998.

Surviving are his maternal grandparents, Kevin and Joan Starr, Girardville; his paternal grandmother, Rose Monterosa; his maternal great-grandparents, James and Patricia Rudloff, Yardley; and his maternal great-great-grandmother, Pauline Bender, Conrad, Mont. One uncle and an aunt, both of Girardville, and cousins also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Shenandoah. The Rev. William N. Seifert will officiate.

There will be no procession from the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Pottsville, to the church.

Interment will take place in Annunciation B.V.M. Cemetery, Shenandoah.

Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
