Son of August Abbondanza & wife Rose. Grandson of Italian Immigrants, Ralph and Tessie Bonacuore Abbondanza.

Ralph was the Former Commander of the Brooklyn Key Chapter of Ex Prisoners of War. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Giardino). Devoted father of Augie (Janet) and Rose Grosso (Nick). Also survived by five grandchildren.

RIP Hero.
