Bonnie Jean Allen, loving mother, sister and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 25, 2013. She was a living testament of her faith to her family and friends. She enjoyed the frequent visits with her grandchildren and had a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren. She was born Feb. 14, 1928, in Midland, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Dorothy (Finney) Klingbail.
Bonnie attended Midland schools, graduating from Midland High School in 1944. The former Bonnie Jean Klingbail married Ernest Allen on Aug. 24, 1946, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Midland. Ernest passed away Sept. 15, 2012.
Bonnie was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She had a servant's heart and always was there for her family. She was a mentor to many and always had a SMILE on her face.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by one son, Kriss Allen on July 21, 2010; and by two brothers, Richard and Bob Klingbail.
Burial will be in Homer Township Cemetery.
