As a young man of only 18 years, he met, loved and married Sylvia Solis. Their union of 60 years produced seven children, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Despite limited formal educational opportunities, Rosendo became a master plumber and, as a member of the UA Plumbers Local #68 (previously Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #185), dedicated more than 50 years of service to the industry. His legacy is built on the words and actions that he lived to the day he left this earth, setting an example to his children and grandchildren to love and protect the family and the Abrego name.
In love and family, he was rich beyond measure.
To each of these fortunate individuals, he imparted the value of a strong work ethic and the humble pleasures of a “lazy day”. He will always be remembered for his wisdom and ability to provide the simplest of answers and insight into what appeared to be life’s most challenging experiences. Rosendo embraced the heavens in the same way he embraced life, with dignity and on his terms.
Interment will be private.
“So long if you want to call that gone, you may not know it but you’re losing a happy home.”
