SYLACAUGA - Memorial service for Olga Sumners Acevedo, 77, was Monday at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Acevedo died Dec. 16 at Mountain View Lake Retirement Village. She was a native of Key West, Fla., and was a Catholic by faith.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Sumners and Dane Sumners of Sylacauga; one daughter, Vivian Porter of Lafayette, La.; three brothers, Archie Moreno of Port Charlotte, Fla., Horace Moreno of Miami, Fla., and Aristides Moreno of Homestead, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel directed the service.
