NITSCHE, RICHARD A., 70, of Safety Harbor, died Monday (Dec. 31, 2001) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. He was born in Ellicottville, N.Y., and came here in 1992 from Niagara Falls, N.Y., where he retired as president of Alox Corp. after 40 years of service. He also was part owner and operator of Alex's Restaurant, Dunedin. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war and received the Purple Heart. He was a world traveler and a magician. Survivors inlcude his companion, Alan Kranking, Safety Harbor; a sister, Louise Hollowell, Oldsmar; and several nieces and nephews. Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater.
